»raster. signale am bauhaus« is a temporary event series of audio visual showcases celebrating the bauhaus centenary in 2019. organized in close collaboration with next100, the first »signale« kicks off on the 07th of december 2018 with performances by byetone, frank bretschneider and mieko suzuki at weimar's e-werk. the series explores the interplay of visuals elements and sound as well as the lasting influence of the bauhaus on contemporary media art production and musical performance. in addition, olaf bender gives a talk about his graphical and musical work as part of the bauhaus masters lecture series. the series will be continued throughout 2019 with further events in weimar and beyond.
